Angèle Carrière
BScPT, MCPA

Angèle was born and raised in Sudbury and graduated from the Physiotherapy program at the University of Ottawa in 2002. She has been practicing Physiotherapy in outpatient orthopedics in the Sudbury area since 2002, and is now co-owner of Advantage Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic.

She has a keen interest in assessing and treating sport-related injuries and has extensive experience treating injuries of all types, including pregnancy and post-partum related pain. She is currently completing the Diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy, and has also completed Level 1 from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, as well as Intramuscular Manual Therapy/Trigger Point Dry Needling.

She is very excited to help our community alleviate their pain, and achieve a higher level of function and mobility through individualized manual therapy.

Christopher Binks
HBSc, BSc PT, CAFCI, MCPA

Christopher graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2000 and has been practicing in Orthopedics and Sports Therapy ever since. He became certified with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute in 2001 and is at the end stages of attaining his diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Therapy.

Special interest courses completed include Trigger Point Dry Needling (IMS), KinesioTaping, and Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunctions. He continues to work closely with local varsity athletes and various other teams.

Christopher was born and raised in Sudbury and is co-owner of Advantage Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic.

Lisa Chartrand
B.P.H.E., CK, Certified FCE, Certified LASER Technician

Lisa Chartrand received her Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degree with a concentration in Health Promotion from Laurentian University in 2006. She is a Certified Kinesiologist in good standing with the Ontario Kinesiology Association and also holds a Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) and a Low Intensity Laser Therapy (LILT) certification.

For the last 4 years Lisa has been providing direct patient care as a certified kinesiologist. Lisa has been an employee of Advantage Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic since its opening in October 2007 where she has expanded her portfolio to include PDA's, FCE's and LASER Therapy.

Lisa is a certified Functional Capacity Interpreter and Evaluator (FCE) trained on the Arcon digital equipment through Metriks Inc. which is portable for on and off site testing. Her training as a LASER technician using the Bioflex Low Intensity Laser Therapy equipment is through Meditech International Inc. Lisa treats a variety of chronic, acute, degenerative, repetitive, trauma and sports injuries with the LASERS at Advantage Physiotherapy .

Lisa also volunteers her time on weekends as well as evenings to provide first aid care, taping and education to the varsity sports teams at Cambrian College.

Lyne Lemieux
BSc., MHSc. PT

Born and raised in Sudbury , Lyne always had a particular interest in orthopedic and sports injuries, which led her to a career in Physiotherapy. She graduated from the University of Ottawa in 2009 with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy and also holds a Bachelor of Science from Laurentian University 2006).  She is thrilled to be back in Northern Ontario and looks forward to continuing her professional development with courses in manual therapy, and acupuncture.

Melissa Moore
Registered Massage Therapist

Melissa was born and raised in the Greater Sudbury region.  She graduated from The Canadian College Of Massage And Hydrotherapy in 2003.  She has been registered in good standing with The College Of Massage Therapists Of Ontario since 2004.  Melissa has worked in many settings throughout the years and these experiences have lead to a great interest for the rehabilitative aspects of massage therapy.  She is thrilled to be working along side such skilled professionals and looks forward to helping those who can benefit from massage therapy.

Erica Duczeminski
Registered Physiotherapist

Erica graduated from the University of Toronto in 2011 with a Masters of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She also holds a Bachelors degree in Physical and Health Education with a concentration in Health Promotion from Laurentian University 2009. Before moving to Toronto to pursue Physical Therapy, Erica played varsity soccer at Laurentian University as well as locally for the Sudbury Canadians at the regional, provincial and semi-professional levels. She is very excited to be back in Sudbury and is eager to continue professional development with courses in trigger point dry needling, acupuncture and manual therapy.

Melissa Labelle

Melissa was born and raised in Sudbury and has been working at Advantage Physiotherapy since it opened in October 2007. She is responsible for the entire administrative functioning of the clinic and is the first person new clients meet as they walk through the door. She looks forward to many more years working at Advantage Physiotherapy.
